Wailea, Maui, Hawaii – (Jun 9, 2016) The Shops at Wailea is proud to present a performance by one of Hawaii’s top-selling female vocalist, Amy Hānaiali’i. Her success as a recording artist is evident with her numerous awards including five GRAMMY® nominations for Best Hawaiian Music Album. Amy will sweep you away with her powerhouse vocals on Wednesday, June 15, from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm at the Fountain Courtyard.
Her albums have also garnered 25 Nā Hōkū Hanohano awards and her range of multiple awards showcase her varied depth. Hānaiali’i has prevailed in the following categories: Female Vocalist of the Year, Hawaiian Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Group of the Year, Christmas Album of the Year, Contemporary Album of the Year and many others. All of her albums have validated her commercial success by consistently placing Amy at the top of the World Album Billboard charts. She has performed for sold out crowds in Europe, Japan and China as well as across the United States. She recently completed a MAPA musical performance at the MACC staring as the lead role in the production of Evita.
Wailea Le’a, The Shops at Wailea’s monthly concert series, is open to the public and is a fun complimentary event with a chance to meet fellow music lovers, visitors, and residents while listening to Hawaii finest entertainers. Special event parking validation is available for $5 for four hours with a portion of the proceeds benefitting the Boys and Girls Club of Maui.
