Conference on Hula 2005 - MACC in Kahului
The second-ever world conference on Hula dancing takes place
on Maui, and presents a unique opportunity to see a variety
of hula styles and traditions in the nightly shows open to
the public. More than 2,000 participants from around the world
are expected to attend. Some of the most renowned names in
Hawaiian hula culture will be present, including Hokulani
Holt-Padilla and Keali'i Reichel, Pualani Kanakaole Kanahele,
Kekuhi Kanahele Frias and Leina'ala Heine Kalama, sharing

The grounds of the Alexander & Baldwin Sugar Museum is
the site for the 3rd annual celebration of Maui's sugar plantation
history and multi-ethnic heritage through cultural music and

historical exhibits, Plantation Days games and educational

Terry Fox Gala - Four Seasons Resort Maui
The Terry Fox organization is celebrating it‘s 25th
year. This premiere fund raiser will be held on Saturday,
October 29th, and will be the 16th year Four Seasons Resort
Maui has hosted this highly successful event. As a result
of the many who contributed and partook in the events last
year, a record $113,000 was raised, which was equally split
between the American Cancer Society of Maui and the Cancer
Research Center of Hawaii.
Dinner Gala will start at 5:30 with registration and silent
action. We will have Chefs from all over the island presenting
their best dishes. There is a live auction followed by entertainment
