Iron Chef Morimoto’s Easy Cup Sake is now available in Hawaii. A unique option for summer imbibing, Easy Cup Sake by Chef Morimoto is packaged in a cooler-friendly five-pack of resealable 210mL glass cups. Made from premium grade Yamada Nishiki rice which has been polished to 70% and brewed with the famously pure “Fushimizu” water, Easy Cup Sake is dry on the palate with a balanced texture, no preservatives, sulfates, or gluten, making it a pure sake made of only the finest ingredients.
Chef Morimoto’s Easy Cup Sake is available on-premise at Morimoto Maui, Momosan Waikiki, and Morimoto Asia Waikiki, as well as local retailers including Foodland, Safeway, ABC Stores, Whaler’s General Store, Island Grocery Depot, and more.
Chef Morimoto took special care in selecting premium sakes produced in collaboration with the Fukumitsuya Brewery which started in the Edo period in 1625. With the highest level of craftsmanship and traditional family secret recipe, the brewery has enjoyed a reputation as one of the finest sake breweries, a prominent sake brewery in Kanazawa, Japan. There are 3 different grades, Junmai, Junmai Ginjo, and Junmai Daiginjo. These are brewed with the highest quality sake rice, Yamadanishiki, and Kinmonnishiki, all “pure” with no added alcohol which will give rich flavors, fragrant aromas and can go well with many dishes as well as from sushi to sashimi.
