The winners from the 2017 PGA TOUR calendar year once again gathered at The Plantation Course at Kapalua in January at the Sentry Tournament of Champions to put their skills to the test against the best players in golf. In the 20th playing of the event in Kapalua, Dustin Johnson showed why he is the number one player in the world, winning the event for the second time in his career. Kapalua Golf Academy Spring Break Junior Camps
Spring Break offers the perfect time for kids to improve their golf game. Kapalua Golf has designed a special Spring Break initiative to develop athletic ability by developing fundamental movement skill, teach golf-specific skills and most importantly, let the kids have fun – creating a love for the game. Taught by the Kapalua Golf Academy’s Junior Development Instructor Chris Armanini, PGA who is modeling the camp around TPI Junior Development courses that believe in developing juniors into athletes first, golfers second and program activities based on developmental age of the juniors.
Programs are Mondays, Tuesdays and/or Thursdays, Fridays with juniors ages 5-10 from 12pm-1:30pm and juniors ages 11-17 from 2pm-3:30pm. March 12-13, 15-16, 20-21, 22-23, 26-27 and 29-30.
