In Hawaii, I do what the Hawaiians do. “Talking story” is what we say when we want to get together and share stories. My stories are my paintings I share with you.
Christine has taught at the University of Rochester’s Creative Workshop at the Memorial Art Gallery and has conducted workshops and given talks at various art clubs across the country. She currently works part time at Maui Hands art gallery which keeps her connected to customers from all over the world as well as learning about other artists and how they create their art. Artist Statement
I make art because, for a while, I am transported to a fantasy world of my own creation. I’ve often wondered if I could be more practical, less of a dreamer. However, every time I’ve thought of giving away my paints it felt like I was dying. My paintings celebrate and explore man and womankind. My journey as an artist is inspired by the light that imbues one’s life when one pursues their joy.
