“Moku Moku” Maui’s Own TV Series
This irreverent comedy series, takes on life in rural Maui following the locals and their struggles of living in paradise. Explore the seemingly unreal and hilarious nature of three friends as they live day by day. Moku Moku puts a comedic spin on small-town life amongst different types of people: Kanaka, Transplants, Paniolo, Surfers, Addicts, and Tourists. We can connect our culture with the world by sharing a glimpse of a Hawai’i less seen by tourists and only known by its people. Moku Moku takes us beyond the beaches and away from the hotels as we head to the hills of the “upcountry” and get to know a rich vibrant community of Maui’s modern-day working class.
