Dr. Carlo Honrado holds the experience of a skilled surgeon and artist. He leads our exquisite aesthetic dermatology center’s Plastic Surgery division as our sole surgeon. Dr. Honrado maintains an impressive roster of credentials. He is certified and recertified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology, both of which are under the American Board of Medical Specialties. This dual certification is truly the ultimate that a plastic surgeon can achieve in training. Dr. Honrado believes in rigorous and Continual Medical Education (CME).
Dr. Honrado received his undergraduate degree from the renowned John Hopkins University, in Baltimore, Maryland. He then commenced his medical training in Brooklyn, New York. After graduating from medical school as Magna Cum Laude, he completed a laborious residency in general surgery in Lenox Hill Hospital and continued receiving highly specialized training with the University Hospitals of Columbia and Cornell. Briefly following, he was accepted into one of the most prestigious fellowships in the country. This well-respected fellowship is sponsored by the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington.
