Christina Felty and Paul Balmer of Shanti Sound Healing returns! The journey begins with the ceremonial drink, cacao (2 to 3oz.). Healing properties of cacao will be shared for a soothing transition to a brief guided chakra meditation. Bathed in the sounds of a 36” water gong, Tibetan singing bowls, drum, rattle and chimes participants will journey through a deep meditation. $45 per person. Must be 16 years and older.

BELLY DANCE FUNDAMENTALS WORKSHOP

Express your strength, grace and sensuality through the beautiful art of belly dance! This 2 hour class taught by Christina Felty is designed for beginners to learn the basic fundamentals of belly dance with body isolations, shimmies, armwork, foot patterns and connecting with musicality. The class will consist of a warmup, basic isolation techniques, shimmies, a short and fun choreography and a simple cool down. No experience necessary.
Wear clothes you can move in. Class is open to ages 16 years and older. $40 per person. Must be 16 years and older.

LEI MAKING AT CLIFF HOUSE

Cultural Ambassador, Silla Kaina and the recreation team at Montage Kapalua Bay invite you to learn and create a beautiful lei po’o (floral crown). Using local and temperate flowers, the technique guests will learn is “wili”, or wrapping style of lei making. The new and unique oceanside event will allow guests to experience and embrace this cultural practice. Participants must be 12 years and older.
