The Kula Lodge and Restaurant was built in the 1940’s as a private residence. Hugging the western slopes of Haleakala Crater, the Lodge sits in a garden of flowers. Nearby farms color the earth with carnations, protea and other blossoms. Enjoy spectacular bi-coastal views of the Pacific Ocean and West Maui mountains and the lights of distant towns whose lights glitter in each day’s twilight. Often used for weddings and special occasions, their unique garden terrace boasts incredible views and a wood-burning brick oven. The Kula Lodge is fortunate in that it is located in the center of Maui’s “Bread Basket”. Herbs grown in the garden below are used as well in local preparations at the restaurant which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The sunset view at dinner paired with fabulous food & wine offers an unforgettable dining experience.
